How to Book

To make a reservation you can either contact us by email or telephone or use the 24/7 online booking system. Provisional bookings are held for 5 working days. A non-refundable deposit of 25% is payable at the time of booking. Please click the link above for a booking form. Deposits can be paid by cheque or debit/credit card using the 24/7 online booking system. If the deposit has not been received within 5 days, we reserve the right to cancel the booking. The balance is due 6 weeks before the holiday start date. When booking less than 6 weeks before the holiday start date, the total rental is payable on booking.

Short Breaks We offer short breaks for 3 or 4 nights from 1st November – 30th April (excluding Christmas, New Year, Easter and half term). Short break prices are for a couple using either the double or twin room only. If both rooms are required an additional £25.00 is charged per person per stay. Children Children are welcome. A baby using a cot is not charged as a person rate. We can provide a cot and highchair free of charge but do not provide cot linen..

Towels Towels are available for hire at £3.00 per person per week. There is no charge for overseas guests.

Arrival & Departure The cottage is available from 3pm on the day of arrival to 10am on the day of departure.

Dogs We welcome one well-behaved dog by arrangement. We do not charge for dogs but on departure we and future guests do not want to see that a dog has been staying. We ask owners to abide by our:

Dog Rules

Please clean up after your dog. A good quality ‘dog’ vacuum cleaner, mop, bucket and cloths are provided to assist owners in cleaning away any mud or hairs shed by their dog in the cottage. We expect owners to keep their dog under control at all times. Dogs are accepted on the understanding that they are kept under strict control and are exercised on a lead. Sheep and ponies are free to roam the moor. Dogs must not be left alone in the cottage. Please do not allow your dog to climb onto the beds or furniture. Please bring dog beds, cages (if required) and their own blankets.

If there are restrictions in place e.g. bookings must start on a specific day, then the system will automatically alert you and move you to the suggested start date.
